Description:

Damascus in a new dimension, made possible by our premium steel used for the first time. 101 layers encase the FC 63 core with a high carbon content - for outstanding hardness and edge retention. Thanks to the 23 cm long serrated blade, you can elegantly saw through any type of bread and even melons or pumpkins. The blade for this is ultra-hard, has a very good edge retention and is still flexible. The premium bread knife from the Tanrei series enables you to cut even, smooth slices both in the kitchen at home and in the catering trade.

The newly developed premium steel of the blade, which achieves a remarkable hardness of 63 HRC, is very helpful. 101 layers of premium steel that are worth seeing: You can already tell from the outside that there is a lot going on here, because this Japanese bread knife has an individual, graceful damask pattern that is different on every blade and that flows from the blade into passes the handle.

Speaking of which: The 23 cm blade of the Japanese bread knife is completed by the ergonomically rounded three-rivet handle made of fine micarta. Both components - blade and handle - together ensure the excellent balance and cutting comfort with which you can cut bread in the future.
